How to Make Your Feet Beautiful

How did you hear about Jesus? Did someone take you to Sunday School when you were just a child? Maybe you made a new friend in high school who introduced you to Him? Were you an adult by the time you heard of Jesus? Whenever it was, wherever it was, and however you heard about Him, the fact is you heard about Him. (If you have not heard about Him, go to my About page and contact me. I would love to tell you about my Jesus.)

Romans 10:14 NLT gets me every time, as it should every Christ-follower out there.

“But how can they call on Him to save them unless they believe in Him? And how can they believe in Him if they have never heard about Him? And how can they hear about Him unless someone tells them?”

That is about as clear as it gets.

We as Christ-followers have found something better than all the treasures of this world. A constant companion, unconditional love, a counselor, a life coach, eternal life . . . the list goes on. This is better than the newest weight loss plan or money-making project. More important than the latest movie or burger place you found. We are forever giving our suggestions for the “best” or saying “You have to try” to our friends and family and even strangers.

This is not a bad thing. Everyone likes a good recommendation, but what if we have the best recommendation and never share it? None of our family, friends, or even strangers will benefit from trying the best.

Jesus is absolutely the best! Everyone needs the opportunity to at least hear about Him. Then it is their choice if they want to see for themselves how good He really is.

Do not be disappointed if they do not take your recommendation because the Word of God tells us of the importance of planting seeds, watering, and growing in 1 Corinthians 3:6-9. You will be planting seeds by telling others about Jesus. It is Father God’s job to save them, but we have to introduce them.

Friends, today I pray you have the boldness and desire to tell others about Jesus. People are in need of some good news, and when it comes to Jesus, well, He is the best news!

Then, Romans 10:15 is talking about you! It says, “…How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

So ask Father God to give you opportunities to tell others about Jesus and the boldness to share Him.
