L-Seven Days

Five, four, three, two, one. . .liftoff! It is more like 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, but, either way, on April 1, 2022, my book, Banderidge, will launch. I may not know what it feels like to be an astronaut soaring through the heavens, but I know how I feel sending Banderidge out to the world.

I like to keep things real and simple so I will be honest: the two strongest feelings I have lately are nausea and excitement. The reality that my first-ever novel, the thousands of words that I have looked at on my computer screen for years, will now be created as a physical book, published for everyone and anyone who wishes to read it. That part–everyone and anyone (insert gulp here) is what incites nausea. People will read my book: friends, family, strangers. Honestly, I am not sure which of those makes me more nervous.

I really have no reason to be nervous because, from the beginning of my journey with book 1, I knew who was really writing this story. I am just blessed to be the one Father God chose to partner with for the process. All glory goes to Him.

Anyway, just a quick hello and status update on Banderidge. I hope you will pray with me that our story finds its way to those who need to read it and that it touches hearts and changes lives.

A great big shout-out to my partners, Father God and Zoe Grace Publishing, for all they have done to get us this far.

Talk to you again soon!
