Unbelievable

Hello, my friends! Unbelievable! It’s unbelievable that I have been silent for so long. I want to apologize for my absence. I will not go into all the extras and try to make an excuse for myself. I thank you for your forgiveness 🙂

While I was gone, things happened quickly with my second book, Gidesha City. (The title has special meaning to me, which I don’t have time to go into right now but will soon.) I reviewed my edits from Shelley’s Editing Service, sent my manuscript to Zoe Grace Publishing for review, made some changes along the way, put three cover choices on social media for voting, determined the winner, found out we were closer to publication than I thought, and set a date for publication for September 1st! That’s tomorrow!

August has whizzed by! If you have a goal date for something, the best thing to do is be so busy you can’t even mow your lawn. . .because friends, that’s where my husband, Wesley, and I are right this minute. We haven’t had time to watch the clock, but we have watched the grass grow as we are backing out of our garage grumbling about how bad we look between our neighbors’ mowed yards. I told Wesley the Homeowners Association is going to get us, but then I remembered we don’t have an HOA so it can grow a little bit taller.

I could write a book (oh I have, haha), but I only have time for a quick note today. But you all are so special to me that I didn’t want another day to go by without dropping in to say hi and tell you about Gidesha City being published tomorrow!

I will update you soon.

Til next time. . .

  1. Update everyone: I have mowed (the front yard) since this post was released. I hope to mow the back sometime before I have to mow the front yard again! 😂 🙃🫣
